The Reader

A large sage toad sits upright on three hardbacks with a fourth open in its front feet and a pair of small round spectacles on its nose. One candle burning beside it.

There is nothing ominous in this one at all, and that is deliberate. Not everything in a dark house has to be a warning.

The photograph shows it framed. The frame is not included: the print ships rolled in a tube, with a thin white border so it can go straight into a mount.
