The Hare and the Moon

Hare and moon folk art print

$38

A hare sitting up in long grass, watching a crescent.

Add to bag

A hare sits upright with its ears raised, still rather than startled, inside a complete ring of wheat. Behind it a bone crescent moon and a scatter of gold.

Hares and moons have been drawn together for a very long time, in a lot of places, for reasons nobody fully agrees on. We drew it because the shape is good.

The photograph shows it framed. The frame is not included: the print ships rolled in a tube, with a thin white border so it can go straight into a mount.
